What is Waterless Car Wash?
Waterless car wash requires little or no water. It is proven to be an eco-friendly way to clean an automobile, and the result is just as well, or even better than the traditional car wash. Waterless products contain more advanced formula than regular products to compensate for the lack of water in the process of washing.
How does Waterless Car Wash work?
A waterless car wash protects and washes the vehicle’s bodywork. The formula is designed to encapsulate dirt and dust particles. This process is similar to how water removes dirt, but the chemical combination of a waterless car wash product is more efficient.
Simply apply the product to the surface of the car and then wipe it off. This process removes any light dirt or stains from the car’s surface. It works ideally for cars that don’t have thick dried mud to clean. A waterless car wash is only recommended for vehicles with light dirt.
Environmental Impact of Waterless Car Wash
Hose & bucket wash: Use 80 - 140 gallons of water per sedan; discharging soapy water, dirt, dust, and oil into the environment.
Commercial wash: Use up to 45 gallons of water per sedan; most locations recollect and reuse the water.
Waterless wash: Use 4 – 6 oz of waterless car wash formula per sedan and a few buckets of water for rinsing towel. In the cases where the car is caked in mud, you require an additional gallon of water.
